Due to Covid-19 we have made the following changes; masks required but can be removed when you are on your mat, ample social distancing space for all (space is over 1300 square ft and typically no more than 5-6 in the room), great air filtration added, no prop sharing, bring you own mat and any necessary props. When weather warms up in the spring /summer we will likely move classes outside utilizing The Mary Virginia Crites Park by The Starkey Pavilion.
Sharon Jeanneret started Yoga Balance in 2001 and has been teaching yoga to students of all ages and fitness levels in Pickaway County ever since . Morning and evening group classes as well as private individual yoga instruction are offered. Multi-level classes offer a great experience for all participants - young and old, practiced yogis, beginners, or those recovering from injuries. All classes are taught by certified yoga teachers with a minimum 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification. Founder and instructor Sharon Jeanneret teaches four morning classes weekly. Sharon has been teaching yoga full time since 2001 and she comprehensively understands the practice of yoga and is extremely adept teaching yoga to beginners and advanced students. Tonya Wood teaches 2 evening classes weekly. Tonya received her Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification in 2017 and is now assisting her teacher in training new yoga teachers, and in the midst of her 500 Hour yoga therapist training.
